Retreat F.A.Q.

When do I need to get there?

We need you there by 6:00 PM on Friday evening for check-in. Make sure to allow yourself plenty time to get there (ie. Gatlinburg has some terrible rush-hour traffic). Don’t worry about dinner- we’ll provide that once you arrive.

What are the transportation arrangements?

We don’t provide transportation for you; however, we do encourage carpooling and groups of people to ride up to Pigeon Forge together. If you need help arranging a ride, email cfidell@northmetro.org.

What’s the retreat going to be like?

This retreat is a GREAT way to meet new people and get connected.You will experience a refreshing weekend away to grow deeper in your relationship with Christ. Brent Shoemaker will be speaking and Seth Condrey will be leading worship. We’ll have 4 total sessions (Friday night, Saturday morning, Saturday night, and Sunday morning) that include worship, teaching, and small groups.There will also be free time during the day on Saturday.

What’s the place we’re staying at like?

We're staying in huge luxury lodges.We’ll be meeting together for meals and sessions at a nearby conference center.

Are meals included?

Yes, for the most part.We will provide dinner on Friday and Saturday night and breakfast on Saturday and Sunday morning. The only meal that is out on your own is Saturday lunch.

Will there be free time?

Yes, there will be free time during the day on Saturday and also after session on Friday and Saturday night. Free time can be spent hanging out around the lodges or out and about in the Pigeon Forge area.

What do I need to bring?

Clothes Toiletries Towel Pillow Bible Journal Spending money (Saturday lunch, optional shopping/attractions)

What does my $70 registration fee cover?

Lodging, sessions (speaker and worship), Friday dinner, Saturday breakfast and dinner, and Sunday breakfast.

I bought my ticket(s) online. Where do I get them? What do I do now?

You don’t need any actual ticket for the retreat.When you sign up online, qgiv sends us an email with your information. Make sure to check the email address that you gave us, especially as the retreat grows closer, as we will communicate with you primarily through email.You will receive emails with everything you need to know.
